The top-jobs-europe team has moved to a new office in mid-December. Thanks to careful preparation, everything went pretty smoothly, although of course our estimate concerning time requirements turned out to be a bit on the low side.
Weeks before the moving date we started to sort through the various cupboards and shelves. Like in a normal household, quite a few things had accumulated over the years. What would be thrown out, what would still be needed until the last moment, and what can be packed in advance to keep the chaos somewhat at bay?
As soon as the construction status of the new office allowed, boxes, plants and other items were one by one moved – which lead to the old office looking rather empty and improvised over the last few weeks.
Surely, a few things still need to be sorted out and fine-tuned, but we already absorbed the spirit of the new rooms.
Of course – that was the goal, after all – everything about the new office is a bit bigger, nicer and better structured. Working here will be fun, and working together easier and more efficient. That easily outweighs the fact that (at least where the colleagues using public transportation are concerned) the office is now located near the edge of the world, especially since working together a solution was quickly found for that problem as well.
Everyone loves this place, and that will only increase the quality of cooperation even more. Top-jobs-europe is poised and ready for new challenges.
